The Journey Continues.....
Welcome and thanks for checking out my photo blog ~ The Journey Continues...
During a recent long, across-country road trip, I photographed images along the way to catalog my experiences, discoveries and sights to savor and to share with others. Although the original 3000 mile journey had a final destination in Pittsburgh, PA, my journey has not ended, nor has my desire to see and experience life through my eyes, my heart and my lens.
This blog is meant to continue the journey and I invite you to join me and hopefully receive joy, tenderness, inspiration and mostly a smile. Rather than a 3000 mile trek with a final destination, it is a moment by moment journey on the road trip of daily life, capturing images of what I see, whether a new view of a flower, cracks in the sidewalk, a beautiful bride, a fun, people-filled event, or an eager high school senior on the edge of adulthood.
I hope you will enjoy coming along side me on this journey of seeing.

Colorado National Monument; Palisade, Grand Junction
Colorado National Park...This gorgeous and awe-inspiring national park is just 30 minutes from Palisade, Colorado. This was my first experience visiting and the views and vistas are stunning. If you are out this way, don't miss visiting the park. Western Colorado has some amazing scenery; vast, wild, breathtaking....

Palisade Winter Walk
I got a chance to visit the Grand Mesa just East of Palisade, CO and the snow and scenery were beautiful. The top of the Mesa is flat, unlike most tall mountains, and the elevation is over 10,000 ft. Gorgeous views and very fun to hike through the snow with the dogs. Enjoy the pics and feel free to leave a comment. I'd love to hear what you think.
Road Trip to Colorado
I have made another trip with my mini. This time through Nevada and Utah and ending in Colorado. Beautiful scenery! Can't wait to share more pics of Colorado.
Highway 50, named the "Loneliest Road in America", is a beautiful trip. If you get a chance, take the 'lonely' road instead of the interstate. You will have the road to yourself for much of the time. Peaceful and beautiful.....

Landscape Scenery in Palisade, CO
I recently spent some time in Palisade, CO and had the opportunity to see and shoot some amazingly beautiful scenery. In this western part of Colorado, one can go from desert to aspen groves to evergreens to snow in a matter of 1-2 hours. So impressive!
Enjoy a few pics of the vistas and even some wild horses. If you get a chance to visit Palisade, I highly recommend it. Plus the wine is fabulous!

Pittsburgh Family Photography
I had a quick chance to photograph my newest grandson and daughter-in-law while visiting in Pittsburgh, PA. He is quite a wiggle-worm and doesn't stay still very long for a picture. But Mom is beautiful and he is adorable so the pics still turned out nice.
